Breaks down Haas crowns – "One of the best in Formula 1"

He's probably kicked out of the garage. But the former boss of the Haas team still has opinions about his now former employees.

Haas' former team boss Günther Steiner now says quite openly that Nico Hulkenberg is 'one of the best in Formula 1 ever'.

Hulkenberg made a comeback in motorsport's finest class last year when he replaced fired compatriot Mick Schumacher.

And Günther Steiner therefore makes no secret of the fact that he was both and is very satisfied with just that determination.

The now unemployed Steiner told the press when he appeared at Autosport International in Birmingham earlier this month.

And when the choirs in the Haas garage are to be assessed today, it is not immediately Kevin Magnussen who gets praise on the road. At least not like the first one.

– I think both are good singers. Nico, self-evident. Last year he showed it in the qualification. I think he is one of the best in Formula 1.

– If you give Kevin a good car and he starts fighting for it, he will also be able to be there, says Steiner.
