Bad drivers are a particular problem here

There have been 16 accidents so far and the winter is far from over, say the authorities.

Winter can be long and hard, especially if you are a bad driver. Apparently they see a lot of this in the US state of Ohio.

This winter alone, the authorities have registered 16 clashes between motorists and snowplows. The press spokesman for the Ohio Department of Transportation, Matt Bruning, tells Motor1 .

– This year we have reached 16 cases faster than before. The first accident was in Cleveland, where a driver hit a snowplow on the freeway.

But an accident in particular that happened on January 23 has caused a stir. Here, a white passenger car, possibly an Audi, smashed into the back of a snow removal truck.

Nothing happened to the truck, but the car is completely damaged. And it takes time, also from the work with the snow removal, because the police must be called every time so that a report can be written about the accident.

It was also in January that a Subaru was cut in half by a snowplow. The person behind the wheel mistakenly believed that an overtaking was possible. Read more about it here .
