China calls it unfair that the US authorities have searched the factory in the US, which has been in Chinese hands since 2015.
The Harco Manufacturing Group factory in the town of Moraine in the US state of Ohio was searched on Thursday last week by the US security authorities – the Department of Homeland Security.
Since 1976, the factory has manufactured parts for the automotive industry. However, it was taken over in 2015 by the Chinese company Qingdao Sunsong, which, among other things, manufactures brake hoses, power steering and oil coolers.
A spokesman for the authorities explains to the Dayton Daily News that the search was part of an ongoing investigation.
An investigation that has probably been ongoing since September, when the Department of Homeland Security was made aware that Qingdao Sunsong had moved some of its production from China to Thailand.

Conversely, the action against the factory in Moraine arouses anger in China, where it is believed that the Americans are trying to use disagreements between the two countries as a weapon.
