Audi RS4 Avant in anniversary edition: Only 1 piece. Coming to Denmark

The Audi RS4 Avant Edition 25 Years marks the distinguished anniversary of one of the German brand's finest cars.

Audi has introduced a special edition to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the RS 4: Audi RS 4 Avant edition 25 years. With unique details and the classic color Imolagul, this model is a tribute to the original RS4 Sport. In addition, the car has been upgraded with more power and will only be produced in 250 copies, of which only one will come to Denmark.

Audi launched the idea of a sports station wagon in the 1990s with the Audi Avant RS2 and Audi S6 plus. The first RS model from quattro GmbH, now known as Audi Sport GmbH, was the RS4 Avant, generation B5 from 1999.

This model had a wider body than the Audi S4 and a 2.7-liter 6-cylinder biturbo engine with 380 hp. In 2001, the sportiest version of the first generation, the RS4 Sport, came with lowered chassis, sports exhaust and bowl-shaped seats. It is this design that inspires the new RS 4 Avant edition 25 years.

The new anniversary model gets a V6 biturbo engine that produces 470 hp and delivers a maximum torque of 600 Nm, which is 20 hp more than the current RS 4 Avant. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 300 km/h. The car is equipped with an RS ceramic brake system and an RS sports exhaust system with matte black tailpipes.

Launch Control in the RS 4 Avant edition 25 years optimizes acceleration by signaling the ideal moment to set off. It is equipped with an RS sports suspension pro, which is a manually adjustable threaded suspension. This gives the car a 10mm lowering compared to the RS 4 Avant, and a further 10mm can be adjusted manually.

The front axle has an increased negative camber of two degrees, which provides better road grip and cornering properties. The rear axle is equipped with a rigidly connected auxiliary frame, which increases the precision of the response from the undercarriage.

The Audi RS 4 Avant edition 25 years comes with high performance Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires on 20" light alloy wheels in matt Palladium. In addition, the car comes with an extra set of wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS tires and the Pirelli Track Adrenaline System, specially developed for race tracks. This system provides real-time information on tire pressure and temperature as well as road recommendations.

The design of the anniversary model is a tribute to the RS4 Sport (B5). It is available in Imola Yellow, with black high-gloss details and matte carbon fiber optic package. The interior has yellow contrast stitching, RS seats with diamond-shaped stitching and backrest backs in carbon fiber. The model designation "RS 4 edition 25 years" is embossed into the windows and the cabin has a numbering showing the limited number of 250 examples.

One of the 250 copies of the Audi RS 4 Avant edition 25 years will be available in Denmark. At the same time, the Audi RS 5 Sportback is launched in a performance edition with the same specifications, but this model will not come to Denmark.
