Volkswagen ID. Buzz GTX: Speed on the hippie bus

Volkswagen has now presented the new ID. Buzz GTX, the most powerful model in ID. The Buzz series.

With an impressive electric powertrain that includes two electric motors and 340 hp, this model offers a significant performance in the electric MPV sector. The prices for ID. Buzz GTX starts at DKK 509,995*

ID. The Buzz GTX is not just an upgrade to Volkswagen's ID. Buzz series, but also a significant improvement over previous models. This model stands out with its powerful electric system, which consists of a 109 hp asynchronous electric motor on the front wheels and a 286 hp APP550 electric motor on the rear wheels. This combination provides an electronic four-wheel drive that optimizes grip and acceleration.

The acceleration time for ID. The Buzz GTX is also noteworthy. The shorter version of the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds, while the longer version, ID. Buzz Lang GTX, does it in 6.4 seconds. The electric drivetrain enables the GTX version to achieve a high degree of dynamism and performance.

When it comes to towing capacity, the ID. Buzz GTX handle up to 1,800 kg in the shorter version and 1,600 kg in the longer version. This makes it suitable for various transport needs, from family trips to more demanding tasks.

The two versions of ID. Buzz GTX differs primarily on the battery front. The shorter version is equipped with a 79 kWh battery that gives a range of up to 419 km. The battery supports fast charging up to 185 kW, and it takes approximately 26 minutes to charge from 10 to 80%. The longer version comes with an 86 kWh battery, which gives a range of up to 458 km and lightning charging up to 200 kW. A quick charge of 10 minutes can, under optimal conditions, give up to 236 km of range.

Designed by ID. Buzz GTX is also unique. The front bumper has a black air intake with beehive monster and vertical air guides on each side. The new corner lights are designed as LED triangles, and several body details, including air intakes and side mirror housings, are in high-gloss black. The car rolls on 20” Solna alloy wheels, and there is an option to choose additional 21-inch alloy wheels in either Caracas (black) or Townsville (black with diamond-cut surface).

The interior of the GTX version is characterized by a black color with messy details on the seats and multifunction sports steering wheel. This model also includes the same equipment as the Style version, including electrically adjustable front seats with massage, a comprehensive assistance package with Travel Assist, some automatic entry, electrically operated sliding doors and tailgate, and IQ. LIGHT-LED matrix headlights.

The GTX version is offered in Candy White, Cherry Red, Mono Silver, Starlight Blue and Deep Black Pearl colors at no extra cost. The two-color combination of Mono Silver / Cherry Red, exclusive to GTX, has an additional price of DKK 22,300.
