The police caught 1,372 motorists in illegal lanes in 72 minutes

In the course of just 72 minutes, the police swooped down on 1,372 motorists who were driving illegally on the A3 motorway outside Frankfurt.

German police have never caught so many drivers breaking the law in such a short time. In 72 minutes, as many as 1,372 motorists were caught in the trap on the A3 motorway outside Frankfurt.

The many motorists all used a lane on the motorway which is actually closed due to some roadworks. But a sea of complaints suggests that motorists are flouting that rule.

This is written by Frankfurter Rundschau .

Even though both signage and physical roadblocks indicate that the track is closed. On Thursday afternoon last week, the police then attacked the motorists in the middle of rush hour.

In the direction towards Frankfurt, the police took 1,372 drivers in the closed lane. This corresponds to 19 car lists per minute. They can now all look forward to a stall of 90 euros, corresponding to 671 Danish kroner.

From the road workers' side, they are happy that the police have cracked down on motorists. According to law enforcement, until the action last Thursday, the road workers feared for their own safety in connection with the work on the motorway.

In addition to the stall, drivers risk a note, several of that kind, and a new choral and theory test awaits.

Unfortunately, it is not the first time – neither here at home nor abroad – that motorists flout the rules and put the lives of road workers at risk. In fact, Boosted's web editor believes that it is such a choir that should permanently cost the choir card. Read more about it here .
