Electric car cannot be repaired – now Xiaomi SU7 is coming to Europe

Whether Denmark is included in the plans for a European launch is not yet known. But Xiaomi wants to Europe with SU7.

Back in April, China's Xiaomi claimed that it had 70,000 pre-orders for the company's first ever car, the SU7. And now something suggests that a European launch is close.

At least closer than ever before. In connection with the Olympics, which were held in Paris this year, the car was on display.

And to Bloomberg , the company's financial director Alain Lam confirms that the brand is going for a 'global launch – including coming to Europe'.

– We have a global expansion in mind, although right now we are trying to satisfy the demand in China.

But all is not as cool for Xiaomi as it might seem. The SU7 has already received enormous criticism for its build quality. Just as in several cases it is completely crazy with the software.

In addition, the cars that have already been sent out on the roads are literally doing horribly in traffic. Several videos have appeared of copies of the SU7 failing.

Several owners report that their cars have broken down. Among other things due to brake failure. In fact, the proportion of reported accidents has only increased recently.

According to Car News China, there are also examples of a car that must have broken down the day after delivery. The car had only managed to cover 40 kilometres.

Several analysts point out that Xiaomi, at least in the Chinese market, is willing to spend huge sums on the SU7. Reportedly, Xiaomi loses 10,000 dollars, or the equivalent of 66,000 Danish kroner, on each and every car that leaves the assembly line.

Yet a car leaves the factory every 76 seconds. Boosted could already tell about this back in May. Read more about it here .
