25-year-old in serious trouble – loses BMW to DKK 500,000.

On the night of Thursday, a 25-year-old man had to hand over the parts for the leased BMW 530e to the Copenhagen Police, and then it started raining charges.

On the night of Thursday, a 25-year-old man had to wave goodbye to a leased BMW 530e. A car worth just over half a million kroner.

Copenhagen Police informs TV2 Kosmopol.

The car was stopped when the 25-year-old was seen at high speed by a patrol, when both came cruising along Åboulevarden in Copenhagen. However, the speed was only one of the BMW owner's many problems.

– The police stop the driver and he tries to pass himself off as someone else, chief of duty Stefan Ladeby tells the media.

However, law enforcement managed to find out who the 25-year-old really is. And hence also a possible explanation for why he lied about his identity in the first place.

It turned out that he has been caught several times driving a car without having a driving license. And because it has now happened more than three times, the police can impound the car without any problems.

They now want to get a judge to confiscate it on behalf of the state. It is not known whether the car is leased in the 25-year-old's name, or whether his company is now bringing someone else into the fat bowl. But it will be expensive anyway.

It is certainly not the first time that the Danish state has put the claws into a very expensive car. Back in November 2023, a car dealer with an address in Norway complained about the Danish state, which he believes ' hates people in expensive cars '.

Two years before, he himself had to hand over a Lamborghini to the police because he had been measured to be driving at least 228 km/h on the Hirtshals motorway.
