Last Grand Tour special ever has premiere date

The last ever Grand Tour special with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May in front of the cameras has been given a premiere date. It will be in September.

After more than 20 years together on screen, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are no longer working together. Now a date has been set for their last appearance together.

At least when it comes to the car program The Grand Tour. The last so-called special with the host trio has been named One For The Road.

And together with a trailer, a premiere date has now been set. It will be Friday, September 13, that for the last time – perhaps ever – fans can see the three friends give it gas in front of the camera.

The trailer doesn't reveal too much. But it is certain that a rebuilt Lancia Montecarlo plays a role in the program. Otherwise there is not much to tell.

But apparently that is also enough. Because the trailer, which hasn't even been on YouTube for a while, has already been viewed more than 1 million times.

Much apropos of the three gentlemen, it is time for self-examination after they closed their joint production company, which was behind the Grand Tour programs, earlier this year. At least that's the case for Richard Hammond.

In a recent episode of Hammond's own podcast, he touches on the fact that he may not have always been so nice on the edge. Especially not against James May. Read more about it here .
