Robert's rare Toyota has just under 3,500 kilometres

There is a long way between them. Mainly because the vast majority of Toyota HiAce from the 90s have been upgraded or exported away. Robert has found one anyway. So again.

Two years ago, Robert O. Skram sold a 1988 Toyota HiAce. At the time, the interest was enormous. And now the Norwegian dealer has done it again.

In the first two hours alone, the ad was on finn.no, 200 people came in to look at the car. And one of them may have stolen it.

Because the car, a camper from 1992, has already been sold. Possibly because of the very fine condition. In 32 years, it has become just 111,000 kilometers. Or just 3,468 kilometers per year.

This is written by Norwegian TV2 .

The car dealer explains to the media that the same man has had the car for 25 years. And that he has looked after it almost uncannily well. On top of that, it has only been a few thousand kilometers since 2016.

– The car has been stored indoors and has not been short in the winter for a few decades, says Robert O. Skram.

The car dealer himself believes that the target group is quite clear. The HiAce model has a very large fan base in Norway, where such a model will go well.

The car has, the dealer says, had the undercarriage treated several times. So there is a lot of HiAce left. Incidentally, the car was last seen in 2023 and serviced that year. But here at Boosted we have previously been able to tell an even wilder HiAce story. Actually several.

At CC Cars in the Silkeborg suburb of Anes, we found a HiAce which – and hold on tight – had only traveled 490 kilometers in 31 years. Read more about it here .

And then there is the story of Per, who was informed back in June that Toyota had recalled his 26-year-old car because an axle had to be changed.
