Car brands reach out for petrol and diesel cars – "What will they be used for?"

The brand has huge problems with everything from assembly quality to getting cars on the road at all. Still, Rivian's CEO is now longing for the competition.

Rivan should have been in Denmark. But back in May it was revealed that they had no such plans after all. And now the brand's managing director is reaching out to the competition. At least those who still have fossil cars on the program. Those cars will, says Rivian's director RJ Scaringe in an interview with HeatMap , quickly fade into being a relic of the past. That is, when electric cars really gain momentum. It just doesn't happen everywhere. For example, the majority of the cars American car dealers cannot sell are electric cars. Right now there are two million new cars in the country looking for their first owners. And the majority of them are electric cars. That's what Automotive News writes. The media can also say that the picture was largely the same in June. READ ALSO: Hard blow for motorists – the entire capital becomes an environmental zone: "Everyone has to pay every day" Back at Rivian, the director and the other people behind the brand have plans to launch a cheap electric car. Or at least a cheaper electric car than is on the program right now. The car, when it arrives, will cost 40,000 to 45,000 dollars in the United States. This corresponds to 240,000 to 305,000 Danish kroner – I think that buying a car with a combustion engine will be a bit like buying a horse stable in 1910. That is, seen in the light of the legislation that is on the way. – Imagine buying a Chevy Suburban in 2030. What will you use it for in ten years, when gas stations slowly disappear, says RJ Scaringe.
