Now the BMW M2 has a whopping 621 horsepower

It hardly wins any beauty contests, but German Dahler has provided a whopping 621 horsepower in the little BMW M2.

At least in terms of design, the small BMW M2 divides the waters. But it is not much different with the rest of the Germans' current model range.

That said, the M2 is a rocket. And that already from the factory. With the Competition package, the 3-liter inline six already delivers 480 horsepower from the factory.

But there is more to come. Much more. If you ask the German-Swiss tuners at Dahler, the upgrades can be divided into two stages. The tuner says so in a press release .

Stage 1 has already been presented. It happened immediately after the current M2 was sent to the streets. Now Stage 2 is ready.

And not only is there significantly more horsepower to come. There is also significantly more horsepower than we find in the factory version of both the M3 and M8. It all goes without saying with BMW's hallmark in the form of rear-wheel drive.

A whopping 621 horsepower and 750 newton meters have been created. Among other things. because the straight six now breathes through an intake from Eventuri. That means carbon fiber and a hell of a lot of it. The motor control itself is also pampered.

Interestingly, Dahler hasn't said anything about whether the insides of the engine have been tampered with. The whole thing can therefore be short on the factory parts. And it may not even have been necessary with larger turbos.

Obviously, these kinds of upgrades are not something you just jump into. At least not without taking into account the rest of the car. So the undercarriage has been greatly tightened.

The very large lap includes a threaded undercarriage. Although M2 owners can also be 'nozzed' with a set of new lowering springs. Either way, there is now plenty of opportunity to rip the 295/25-21" large rear tires to pieces. Although smaller 20" can do it too.

The price? It all depends on how many ticks you dare to put on the list of extras. But you have to remember the car first. In Denmark, the current BMW M2 costs from DKK 1.6 million. But then the tax is also paid.
