Jaguar in trouble – only one car left

British-Indian Jaguar is not what it used to be. The brand, which will compete with Bentley, now builds only one car.

Over recent months, Jaguar's model range has been greatly reduced. And now the British-Indian brand has reached the point where there is only one car left on the assembly line.

After saying goodbye to the brand's last sports car, the F-Type, the XE, XF, E-Pace and I-Pace have also had a go. So now only the SUV F-Pace is left.

That's what Automotive News Europe writes.

However, Jaguar believes it can explain the drought in the model range. Furthermore, according to the plan, it should not last too long either. Already next year – i.e. in 2025 – the first new Jaguar models will arrive in a very long time.

– We are removing five car models. All of low value to us.

– None of the cars are models on which we have made money. So we are replacing them with new chore clothes on newly developed platforms, the brand's director Adrian Mardell has told investors.

Jaguar Land Rover – also simply called the JLR group – is scheduled to launch six brand new models. However, they come a long way in sharing the technology from one common platform.

The models are distributed with three for Jaguar and three for Land Rover. Both brands, which do not really make a name for themselves in Denmark. However, Land Rover is doing best.

The English Danish importer has sold 50 cars in Denmark from 1 January to 30 June 2024. Jaguar, on the other hand, has registered just two cars in the same period.
