Fisker Ocean freediving – costs under 70,000 kroner

If you are willing to – and dare to buy – a used Fisker Ocean, the cars are now available for under DKK 70,000. However, the owners have to live without warranty and lack of spare parts.

Several subsidiaries have already succumbed, while Fisker Inc. has not gone bankrupt yet. Still, buying the brand's cars is associated with great risk. Therefore, the price of used cars is now also below DKK 70,000.

At least in the US.

Here, Rich Benoit has long said that he would buy a Fisker Ocean if the price drops to 10,000 dollars – that's 68,000 Danish kroner – or more.

Primarily because he himself had predicted that prices would crash. If it went bad to $30,000 for used cars, and if it went worse than bad to $20,000 or less.

Now he stands by his word and calls himself a Fisker owner. Rich Benoit bought the blue car for exactly 10,000 dollars, he tells his 142,000 followers on the social media Instagram .

The fisherman has not covered more than 600 kilometers, and it has not been damaged or otherwise noted in the papers. However, this does not mean that Rich Benoit is fashioning a problem-free ownership.

Right now, Fisker Inc. recalled all cars ever built at the factory in Austria. The electronic heat pump may have been switched off. Something that limits the cars' top speed to 16 km/h. Read more about it here .

It also turns out that there are problems with the mandrel handles. They will not slide back into their starting point flush with the door panel. The costs of the repairs must be covered by the car brand. But it can be very difficult.

Fisker Inc. lack of money. It turns out that the car brand emptied its accounts in Sweden, a few days before the subsidiary's bankruptcy. Fisker Inc. will also only recognize a fraction of the total claim of DKK 8.6 billion that various creditors believe they have to their credit.

Here at home, a car dealer who claims to have sold more than 30 Fisker Oceans this year refuses to believe that the brand is going bankrupt. In fact, the dealer believes in the project so much that the cars are sold with a warranty. Read more about it here .
