Henrik Fisker's pay goes down – now he gets less than 7 kroner

Henrik Fisker, together with his wife Geeta Gupta-Fisker, goes bankrupt in connection with the bankruptcy protection in the USA. The married couple officially receives 7 kroner.

One dollar. Or just under 7 Danish kroner.

This is what Henrik Fisker and his wife Geeta Gupta-Fisker get in return, while they can see their shared car brand crumble away.

In connection with bankruptcy protection in the USA, and bankruptcy petitions in countries such as Sweden and Norway, the Fisker couple have agreed to the very small salary. At least on paper.

Carscoops writes that.

It is attorney John DiDonato, Fisker Inc. has appointed as a lawyer in connection with the liquidation of the car brand, which confirms the wage decrease.

In connection with the mother in the American probate court, John DiDonato has made it clear that the Fisker couple received $62,400 in salary in 2022. That's the minimum wage in California, where they live.

In addition, however, they were paid 710,000 dollars corresponding to 4.87 million kroner in bonus that year. How much the Fisker couple have received in salary and bonuses since, and what they have received in salary during the bankruptcy protection, the lawyer could not answer.

But now the 'loan payment' is officially down to just one dollar. Something else is that Fisker Inc. owes a huge amount of money away. Various creditors have raised over 160 claims against the company.

Among the creditors is the car factory Magna Steyr in Austria. This means that Fisker Inc. have not paid for the cars that have been built. Read more about it here .

A completely different problem for Fisker Inc. is that the car brand must recall every car it has ever built. An electronic water pump must be replaced, the current one can prevent the cars from driving faster than 16 km/h.
