It's over – Audi stops production of the RS5

It is over. The Audi RS5 will not continue into 2025. The news comes shortly after the Germans said the same about the A5 cabriolet.

The Audi RS5 is done, finish, finito.

In other words, the top model within the A5 model program will not continue into 2025. The news now comes shortly after the Germans announced that it is also the end of the more common A5 Cabriolet.

However, there are exceptions to the program changes at Audi. Because the four-door "Sportback" will join us in 2025. It is not known whether it is only for a very short remark.

However, nothing major will happen with the models before model year 2025. But that's the end of it. At least for some of the cars.

The Audi RS5 first saw the light of day in 2010. At that time, the model had a 4.2-liter V8 engine with 450 horsepower. The number of cylinders has since shrunk to six. However, the number of horsepower has remained the same.
