Here's the new Capri, a must-see for Ford

The renewed Ford Capri is most reminiscent of a Polestar 2 with slightly different headlights. Now it has been leaked on a Spanish forum.

For many years, the Capri name was inextricably linked to a two-door coupé, which in its most potent version had a V6 engine and turbo.

We are very far from that, now that Ford is breathing new life into the name. Like the electric Mustang Mach-e, the new Capri shares little other than the name with its historic sibling.

Thanks to CocheSpias, the Capri has been leaked for the official premiere today, Wednesday 10 July. Perhaps some fans will be able to sense a little of the old car in the headlights of the new one.

But then the 'similarities' also end. The new Capri is technically one hundred percent identical to the electric Ford Explorer, which is again just a Volkswagen ID.4 with slightly different headlights.

The Danish Ford importer has not yet said anything about the Capri. But if the car becomes part of the model program in Denmark, we may very well soon hear news from that side. Boosted follows suit.
