The last Volkswagen Golf R with a combustion engine will be a crazy expensive affair – on the other hand, it is available both as a station wagon and as a hatchback.
Volkswagen could lift the lid on a double world premiere when the Germans showed the last Golf R – as we know it – to the public in June.
Golf R – is the last bottling – of a potent Golf, because the model will be a pure electric car, and the R models will also become an independent brand.
The last Golf R, however, is a heated lap. In fact, Volkswagen has never built a Golf with so many horsepower. Read more about it here .
We do not yet know whether the car will be part of the Danish importer's program. But in Germany, you are already ready with the price.

The price of the new Volkswagen Golf R starts at 53,795 euros for the hatchback version. While the station wagon – or Variant as Volkswagen says – costs from 55,065 euros. This corresponds to a price that in Danish currency ranges between DKK 400,000 and DKK 410,000. So for any tax.
VW has priced the special Black Edition model from 58,440 euros. In Danish kroner and öre, it is DKK 435,000. And even if it sounds expensive, which it is, it's actually not the most expensive Golf R ever.
The 'honour', if you like, goes to a car which is already sold out. With a price of 76,410 euros, corresponding to DKK 570,000 without taxes in Denmark, a more expensive Golf than the 333 copies of the R 333 has never been built . Read more about that car here .
