The rare Ford Sierra is looking for a new owner – has just 100 kilometers

Not 100. Not 10,000. But only 100 kilometers is what this Ford Sierra RS Cosworth has been able to do since 1987.

There is a long way between them here at home. And in Norway, if possible, a Ford Sierra RS Cosworth is an even rarer sight. Yet this one has appeared.

With just 100 kilometers on the odometer, there are hardly any Sierra RS Cosworths with fewer kilometers than this example. It should be if Ford in Europe has a car standing in a secret factory assembly somewhere.

The story goes that the Ford's owner brought the car to Norway from Germany 25 years ago. But now it is time to find a new home.

– We have been given the task of selling it.

– The current owner has collected cars for many years. He is genuinely interested in custom models and has been a customer of ours for about 30 years. We are very proud to be able to present this car for sale, continues car dealer Ronald Jensen from Ford to Norwegian TV2 .

According to the media, well over 60 Sierra RS Cosworths were sold when the model was new in the 1980s. How many are still in the country does not appear from the information.

There is also a harder pumped Sierra. Namely the RS500 Cosworth. As the name suggests, the car was only built in 500 copies. All cars were delivered as either right- or left-hand drive with 224 horsepower from a 2-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine.

Back at Ford, there is the question of the price of the RS. The current owner will not let go of the car for less than NOK 2.5 million. At today's exchange rate, this corresponds to 1.63 million Danish kroner.

It is not the first time that Boosted has been able to tell about how a well-preserved Sierra RS Cosworth has sought a new owner. But this is the first time the mileage has been so low.
