Then it also happened in Sweden – Fisker is bankrupt

Fisker Inc.'s Swedish subsidiary went bankrupt on Friday last week after a petition was processed in bankruptcy court. The same has happened in Norway.

Now only Denmark is missing, so Fisker has gone bankrupt in all of Scandinavia. On Friday, the Swedish subsidiary was declared bankrupt.

This is according to the Swedish authorities .

Just like in Denmark, Henrik Fisker's wife Geeta Gupta is chairman of the board and director of the Swedish company.

Fisker AB has sold Fisker Ocean in Sweden from a showroom at Kungsängen in Stockholm. The brand also made a service and warranty agreement with the workshop chain Mekonomen. However, with the bankruptcy, that agreement is in danger of being dissolved.

What will happen to Fisker's remaining employees in Sweden is still undecided. But they are guaranteed loans via the country's legislation and the so-called bankruptcy guarantee. Fisker Inc. however, also has debt in Sweden.

At the time of bankruptcy, Fisker AB has a tax debt of SEK 550,000. This corresponds to 360,000 Danish kroner.

At home, Fisker is also expected to go bankrupt. The joint stock company behind the business has already obtained the C/O address from a lawyer in Copenhagen. But according to the company register, no bankruptcy petition has yet been filed.

However, Fisker in Denmark has already left its huge showroom and workshop in Taastrup. The commercial broker, who in his time helped Fisker settle in the premises, tells Boosted that at least one car brand is interested in taking over the lease. Read more about it here .
