7 out of 10 electric car owners complain about the same thing in Denmark

7 out of 10 Danish electric car owners think it is difficult both to see the price at the public charging stations and to keep track of the subscriptions.

One of the arguments for buying an electric car is that it will all be so much easier. It's just not true, say seven out of 10 Danish electric car owners.

They feel lost in the charging market. This is shown by a new survey that Norstadt has carried out for the energy company Q8.

Specifically, many electric car owners answer that they find the charging market at home opaque. This is how 7 out of 10 or 56 percent of the motorists surveyed feel.

This is what Q8 writes in a press release .

At the same time, the survey shows that the longer you have been an electric car owner, the more difficult it becomes to see the actual price for charging on the go.

– The investigation puts another thick line under the fact that the charging market here at home is very difficult to see through for Danish motorists.

– Even electric car owners who have had their electric car for a long period find it difficult to see through the market. It should normally be the other way around, says Marc Skriver-Bayer, e-Mobility Manager at Q8.

The difficulty of electric cars also leaves its mark on the roads. As many as 47 percent of electric car owners respond that it is more difficult to go on holiday in Denmark in an electric car compared to a diesel/petrol car. And when it comes to the trip abroad, a full 61 percent find it more difficult.

– Hopefully our app can make the holiday trip in the electric car a little less worrying, but there is no doubt that the unmanageable charging market at home also affects electric car owners' plans for a car holiday, says Marc Skriver-Bayer.
