A Swedish car dealer has been taken to court because a Koenigsegg for 18 million Swedish kroner suddenly cost 31.5 million kroner.
Niclas Kappelin has ordered a Koenigsegg Gemera with three cylinders and 1,400 horsepower. At least he thought so.
But now the question of what he actually ordered at the factory in Ängelholm has ended up in court. Koenigsegg also has a more expensive version with a V8 engine and a whopping 2,300 horsepower on the program.
– I replied that we have a valid agreement and that I would not approve any price changes, says Niclas Kappelin to the media Privata Affärer .
However, the dealer believes that Niclas Kappelin can either regret his purchase or pay the more than 31 million Swedish kroner for a version of the Gemera with a V8 engine.

On the other hand, the driver believes that this is a broken agreement. Therefore, he now wants compensation of DKK 16.2 million. The case must first be heard in the district court.
– It is about something as basic as honoring agreements entered into. I gave them one last chance.
– But they refuse to deliver the car I ordered. For me, there is only the legal process left, we'll see how it ends, says Niclas Kappelin.
The car dealer Bendt Bil would like to go as far as to regret the engagement for the expensive Koenigsegg Gemera. But they will not pay compensation because, according to the lawyer, 'no damage has been done'. If that is the case, the court must now decide.
It is not the first time that a motorist and a car dealer have had a heated disagreement. Previously, Boosted was able to tell about a Danish celebrity who believes he has been cheated out of a considerable amount of millions by a retailer in Aalborg. Read more about it here .
