Porsches crack – all electric cars must be repaired

Porsche has found that some brake hoses on the Taycan electric car are cracking. In Sweden, this means that all cars must be repaired.

Porsche has recalled the electric Taycan in most of the world. It turns out that the front brake hoses can crack.

That's what Autocar writes.

In the worst case, the leak can lead to brake failure. Fortunately, the owners are warned by the cars themselves if the problem should arise.

It is unclear exactly how many of the more than 150,000 Taycans Porsche has sold have had their brake hoses replaced. But those in Sweden must at least.

The importer states that they are not taking any chances and are changing the hoses on all of the 2,300 Taycans that have been sold in the country so far.

Regardless of whether the replacement takes place in Sweden or other countries, it takes Porsche's technicians just over two hours to correct the problem per car. However, the car brand bears the cost of the repair.

Much apropos of paying for repairs, Per Wierod can be glad that this kind of thing exists at all. Because it means that Toyota has just fixed his 26-year-old HiAce under the factory warranty. Read more about it here .

Back at Porsche, customers can state that the Taycan is a really bad investment. At least when this sort of thing is accounted for in loss of value. The Germans' latest bottling of the model has lost almost a quarter of a million kroner in value in just 28 days.
