The police raided 39 motorists on the same road

It was an expensive pleasure for the 39 motorists who on Jelsvej passed a photo van from the Southern and Sonderjylland Police too quickly.

The photo vans, of which the Danish police have received several at the beginning of 2024, are such good business that they are on the Finance Act.

And on Wednesday morning, the Southern and Southern Jutland Police raided 60 drivers who had too heavy right-handers on Jelsvej in Helle between Rodding and Jels.

The police district writes this in a press release .

In just over five hours, 39 violations of the current speed limit of 60 km/h were registered. The figure does not exactly surprise the leading forces in the traffic department.

– In February we were on the same stretch with our ATK car. At that time, we registered 36 speeding offences, of which 8 were clipping offences. There has not been an improvement, so we will come again.

– We know that high speed is the cause of motorists dying or being seriously injured in traffic, so take your foot off the accelerator.

– You don't save many minutes by speeding, but on the other hand it can be expensive and is risky for both your health and that of others, says Police Commissioner Anders H. Borg, head of the traffic department at the Southern and Southern Jutland Police.

In the short five hours, six motorists so quickly pass the photo van that they stand for a clip. The fastest was a driver who did 90 km/h.

However, it can easily go faster. A female Tesla owner can talk about that. Recently, she was just 4 km/h from losing her brand new car to the treasury. Read more about it here .
