After bankruptcy protection – now Henrik Fisker speaks

His own company faces a total shutdown when an inventory of 4,300 cars has been sold. But Henrik Fisker skipped that when he visited the Indian ET Auto Summit via video link.

His own company is under bankruptcy protection in the United States. And in the bankruptcy court it emerged that Fisker will close when a stock of 4,300 cars has been sold.

But Danish car designer Henrik Fisker deftly skipped over his own nightmarish situation when he addressed a gathering at India's ET Auto Summit on Thursday last week.

This is what electric-vehicles.com writes.

Via a video link, the participants could, among other things, whore Henrik Fisker make suggestions on the future of the electric car, and how the electric car lacks the feeling that a car with a combustion engine can give.

– Electric cars do not provide the same emotional experience as combustion engines do.

– As we continue to develop them, we will find out how we can also replace the experience of the internal combustion engine, said Henrik Fisker during the event.

The day after Henrik Fisker's speech in connection with the Indian fair, it was clear that Fisker Inc. is ready to sell all its assets to one and the same buyer. At least preferably.

In the bankruptcy court, it emerged that Henrik Fisker has asked 40 prosecutors in the car industry if they are interested in taking over the car brand. But Fisker Inc. seems to have been rejected every time.

And now apparently only negotiations remain with an American company that makes a living selling cars to ride-hailing services like Lyft. However, there is nothing concrete on the table yet either. At least not something that the public should know about.

If Henrik Fisker's car brand closes, which there is much to suggest, it will by no means be the first time that the 60-year-old man from Allerod is passionate about the car industry. In fact, he has had to pack up and close his businesses twice.

Among other things. 10 years ago, when Fisker Automotive, which built the Fisker Karma hybrid car, had to close production, just 2,450 examples of the car had left the factory in Finland, where the brand leased itself.
