This November, it will be 11 years since Fast and Furious star Paul Walker died in a car accident. Now his unfinished Camaro must find a new home.
Before his untimely death in November 2013, Paul Walker was a genuine car enthusiast. His car collection, which has since been sold in larger or smaller quantities, testified to that.
Some of the cars just never found a new owner since. This applies, among other things, to for the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z/28. A car that Paul Walker actually owned with his friend Roger Rodas, who died in the same accident.
It is not known what plans the two friends had with the car. But as you can see from the pictures of it, the two were at least grinding it down. Presumably as a preparation for a new varnish.
Contrary to the exterior, the interior is apparently in quite good condition. The auction house Mecum, which has the car under the hammer until August, at least notes that.

It's also worth noting that the car's factory 4.9-liter V8 engine still resides between the front wheels. The 4-speed manual gearbox has not been tampered with either.
The big question is how much the rolling project will cost. No minimum price has been set, but the car collection Paul Walker left behind has attracted a lot of interest.
The Hollywood star had a particular weakness for white cars. Among other things, a sea of BMW E36 M3 in the special Leichtbau edition. Read more about it here .
Other of Paul Walker's cars have set world records since the star's death. This applies, among other things, to a bayside-blue Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R, which last year became the world's most expensive specimen.
Even before the car was sold, the auction house Bonhams expected the price to be on the scary side of a million dollars, equivalent to just under 7 million Danish kroner today.
