On Wednesday afternoon, a woman in her 50s from Greve was just 4 km/h from having to hand over her new Tesla to the police.
It was 4:15 p.m. when a traffic officer pulled over a woman in her 50s who was clearly too busy in her new Tesla.
On Mosede Landevej past Karlslunde Station you must drive 50 km/h. The woman blew past the officer's laser equipment at 96 km/h.
This is what the Central and West Zealand Police write in the police report .
"She was made aware that she was quite close to driving the crazy carousel in town at that high speed."

"If the measurement had shown more than 100 km/h, then her brand new Tesla from May had been short-circuited on a sweeper and the driver's license had been taken on the spot," says the police department.
Now the woman gets away with a fine of DKK 6,600 and a contribution to the Victims Fund of DKK 500 instead. Something that has to be paid for because of the high speed.
The woman can keep the Tesla and continue to drive in it. However, she just needs to pass a controlled theory and driving test. Conversely, the police are not always right.
