It is actually possible to make a stylish and attractive electric car that is also frugal when it comes to power consumption, says Cadillac's deputy director.
It may well be possible to build an electric car that both looks good and uses relatively little electricity. At least electric cars don't have to be boring.
At least not if you ask Cadillac's deputy director Michael Simcoe. In an interview with CarsGuide , he explains that it is completely wrong for an electric car to be a square on wheels.
– Anyone who tells you that an economical electric car needs to be a square on wheels is wrong. It is possible to make very economical (electric, ed.) cars that look good at the same time.
In fact, Simcoe believes that within the next few years the car brands and their designers will already be designing and building electric cars that have a 'broader appeal'.

Having said that, Tesla is not exactly a brand to be forgotten. Despite poor accounts, the brand's stock is still among the most valuable of the electric car brands. On the other hand, Tesla is far from selling cars at a pace similar to that of the record year 2023.
In fact, the car brand's inventory, which ties up to DKK 20 billion in electric cars, can now be seen from space. Read more about it here.
