Swedish Evify will be leading in Denmark

Denmark has a new actor in the market for charging boxes for electric cars, namely the Swedish e-commerce giant Evify.

With an ambition to revolutionize the electric car market, Evify will be a leading supplier and installer of charging boxes in Denmark. "It can be made easier and more efficient to set up unique charging boxes for every home," says Philip Hägglund, CEO at Evify.

He emphasizes the desire to eliminate the cumbersome subscription arrangements that many electric car owners are currently bound by.

2023 marked a record year for electric car sales in Denmark, with electric cars now accounting for 36% of all newly registered cars. The increasing popularity is due to both technological innovations and an increased political focus on sustainability, which many Danes actively support. This creates a growing need for reliable and efficient charging infrastructure.

With over 200,000 electric cars on Danish roads, the need for fast and safe charging is crucial. Evify wants to meet this need by launching their recognized e-commerce platform in Denmark in June 2024. Here they will offer a wide selection of accessories and charging boxes from popular brands such as Tesla, Zaptec and DEFA, all at competitive prices.

Since their founding in 2018, Evify has already installed over 12,000 charging boxes in Swedish homes. Philip Hägglund sees this success as a positive sign for the green transition: "We saw an opening in the market for quick delivery and safe setup of charging boxes, adapted to the preferences and needs of the individual car owner. At the same time, we saw a need for better charging solutions and accessories for electric cars , if we are to include all consumers and if the major transformation of the industry is to succeed."

Evify differs by offering a simple and user-friendly solution that breaks with the traditional subscription models. Instead of monthly payments, Evify offers a one-time payment for the purchase and installation of the charging box, with free support included.

"It must be super easy and safe. You go to the webshop, find your car model, order the charging box you like best, answer a few questions about where it should be installed, and then local installers from our Danish partner come out and sets it up where the customer wants it. No subscriptions or commitment periods, the lowest possible price, and free support should any challenges or questions arise," explains Einar Berglund, CTO at Evify.

Evify's new Danish website will give electric car owners the opportunity to find the perfect charging box for their home and get help from local installers. Visit their platform at www.evify.dk to learn more about their offer and start the process of getting a charging box installed.

Evify is a Swedish e-commerce platform founded in 2018, which specializes in the sale and installation of charging boxes for electric cars. After great success in Sweden, they are now expanding to Denmark, where they will continue to promote the green transition through easy and affordable access to charging infrastructure.
