The new M3 is the most potent BMW has ever built

It doesn't get wilder than the new M3. At least not if it has to come from BMW in that size. So with four-wheel drive and 530 horsepower.

Four-wheel drive, inline six of three liters and 530 horsepower.

These are just some of the highlights of the M3 that BMW is sending to the streets for the 2025 model year. And not only that. But with those specifications, the German engineers have never actually built a wilder M3.

At least not when we start from what is approved for public asphalt. But wait, there's more good news. Because BMW keeps the forms.

This means that the 'new' M3 comes as both a sedan and a station wagon. Or touring as BMW says in the case of the latter.

With the rear seats folded down, there is a whopping 1,500 liters to fill with all imaginable gear. For obvious reasons, the sedan model cannot boast of quite that much space. But regardless of the body variant, the cars share several details. Among other things, a new M steering wheel and carbon fiber brake discs.

If you want rear-wheel drive, which many BMW people swear by, it is only possible in the sedan model. On the other hand, it will also be available with a six-speed manual transmission. Although BMW has actually said that it is over with three pedals.

If speed is what you want, you should choose the sedan with 8-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. Here, BMW promises a 0-100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds.

It is not yet known which editions will come to Denmark. Therefore, the Boosted editors do not know anything about any prices either. But we are following the case.

PS : Did you know that one of the M3's closest competitors is going out of production altogether? Yes, it is good enough. Unfortunately, only one copy of the very last cars will come to Denmark. Read more about it here .
