Ole rages over Chinese electric car – "Only four-wheel drive straight out"

Ole Næss would never have bought an MG Marvel R if he knew what he knows now. Namely that it does not always pull on four wheels.

Norwegian Ole Roar Næss bought an MG Marvel R in the belief that the car pulls on all four wheels. That's just not the case. At least not always.

– If the car salesman had told me that, I would never have bought the car. It seems to me that they fail to inform about this in all advertising, says Ole Roar Næss to norske Motor .

According to Ole Roar Næss, he himself has not been informed that the MG only pulls on all four wheels when it is going straight.

Norwegian motoring journalists have also criticized MG for launching a car with such a distinctive 'four-wheel drive'.

– Many choose four-wheel drive precisely to be able to get out with the car on a snowy morning. Perhaps the need for four-wheel drive is greatest in reverse gear, says journalist Øivind A. Monn-Iversen.

However, the Norwegian cannot use the fact that journalists share Ole Roar Næss's concern very much. Not even in the legal system. The district court has given the MG importer the right that Ole Roar Næss was and is sufficiently informed about the car's functions.

Now Ole Roar Næss has a car for just under 400,000 Norwegian kroner, which he is not particularly enthusiastic about. However, he does not get rid of the car.

– I have been convicted because I have not read a bragging brochure, he says to Motor.

However, he is far from the only one who feels cheated by a car salesman. However, just 17-year-old Jonathan Fredricks doesn't just feel cheated, he was actually cheated in a deal with a Mazda CX-5. So rude, in fact, that another negotiator offered to save the situation. Read more about it here .
