The new Suzuki Swift – here are the price and launch date

The Suzuki dealers throughout the country are ready to present the brand new Suzuki Swift at the Danish premiere very soon.

The Suzuki Swift is an iconic model for Suzuki worldwide, known for its fresh design, entertaining driving characteristics and good overall economy. Since its launch in 2005, over 9 million copies have been sold globally, of which more than 40,000 in Denmark.

The model has also been of great importance in rallying with several Danish championships. Despite a market where many petrol cars are disappearing, there is still great demand for small and economical cars.

Suzuki Denmark expects that over 25,000 Danes will choose a petrol car in the Swift class in 2024. With an impressive fuel economy of 22.7 km/l in mixed traffic and a high level of equipment at a starting price of DKK 169,990, the new Swift stands strong in the competition.

The new Swift has undergone a significant design update, both externally and internally. Although the original lines are still recognisable, the design has been given more character with a distinctive charcoal grill in a piano gloss finish, stylish LED headlights and a distinct shoulder line that wraps around the car. The interior has also received a ceiling with, among other things, a new instrument panel with a 9” infotainment system and a redesigned air conditioning system, angled towards the driver.

The new Suzuki Swift offers a fine level of safety equipment that is standard on all model variants. This includes automatic corner braking that recognizes cyclists, motorbikes and pedestrians, advanced adaptive cruise control, sign recognition, blind spot warning, speed assist, active lane assist and LED headlights with automatic up and down.

In addition, there is a warning against crossing traffic behind the car, a rear parking sensor and a reversing camera for safer parking. All this equipment is included in the price, even for the cheapest model.

The cheapest model, Upgrade, costs DKK 169,990 and includes hands-free operation, push-button start, 9” HD infotainment system, wireless connection via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, rear camera, air conditioning, electric windows front and rear, multi-adjustable steering wheel and electric -side mirrors with heating and automatic dimming of the LED headlights.

The next variant, Advance, adds 16" alloy wheels, leather steering wheel, black windows at the back, heat-absorbing windscreen and seat heating at the front for an additional price of DKK 15,000. The top model Desire, for DKK 199,990, includes fully automatic air conditioning, folding side mirrors with indicators and alloy wheels in an elegant black and chrome finish.

The new Suzuki Swift is equipped with an energy-efficient 1.2 petrol engine with 3 cylinders and 82 hp. The standard equipment includes Suzuki's 12V mild-hybrid technology, where a small electric motor assists the petrol engine during starting and acceleration.

The energy is collected during braking and deceleration, stored in a 12V lithium battery. The system works automatically without user intervention. This technology contributes to an impressive fuel economy of 22.7 km/l in mixed traffic and CO2 emissions of just 98 grams per kilometre. km.

The new Suzuki Swift will be presented at local Suzuki dealers on the weekend of June 1-2. Those interested can stop by and experience the high level of equipment, the new safety features and try a ride in the comfortable seats of the new Swift .
