Bought cars from Germany – now he is bankrupt

The bankruptcies among the Danish car dealers continue. Now a dealer in Grindsted has also broken his neck.

Several car dealers with Danish CVR numbers have recently gone bankrupt. Among other things, it has happened to a car dealer who swindled a celebrity. Read more about it here.

And now another car dealer joins the chorus of bankruptcies. This time it is a dealer in Grindsted who sells and leases used cars, which turns some people around.

That's what Jutland Vestkysten writes.

The business opened in 2021 and thus only managed to exist for quite a few years, because it is all over. Edwin Donald Apel, who is one of the three owners, explains to the newspaper why his business is now a thing of the past.

This is due, among other things, to the corona pandemic and the investment in some defective cars from Germany, as Apel explains it.

However, a million dollar loss in the business is not the only thing the used car dealer's latest accounts tell about the business. There is also a debt in the company.

The equity shows a minus of DKK 740,000. However, the debt is so small that the owner hopes that the business can survive. But it will require funds from a new investor and that there is enough money in the company for the debt to be repaid.

Other car dealers are on the verge of bankruptcy with somewhat greater speed. This has happened, among other things, on Bornholm, where a bankruptcy has meant, among other things, the disappearance of an entire car brand from the island. Read more about it here .
