Last year service Ferrari almost DKK 1 million per car

No other car business in the world is doing as well as Ferrari's. The brand from Maranello shovels a record amount of money into the street cars.

It is quite possible that Ferrari thirsts for World Cup titles in Formula 1. But on public roads, the marque from Maranello is unconditional world champion.

At least when it comes to making money on street cars. In 2023, Ferrari had a turnover from the street cars alone of a whopping 41.3 billion Danish kroner. This is an increase of 17 percent compared to the previous year.

But there is more good news from that side. When you take the number of delivered cars into account, 13,663 of them, this corresponds to a turnover of DKK 3.09 million per year. car.

Ferrari states this on its own website .

Then there is the operating result. In other words, Ferrari's actual profit from operations. There was 11.5 billion kroner to collect on that account. Or DKK 830,000 per car. The highest profit in the automotive industry.

In order to earn even more, Ferrari is now putting more effort into the special Tailor Made programme, which emphasizes tailoring the individual car to the individual customer to an ever greater degree.

And if we're just rounding up Ferrari's employees, they have absolutely nothing to fear. The four-door Purosangue is sold out several years into the future. And the order book for the rest of the model program is already full for the whole of 2024.

Something the employees enjoy. The hard work triggers wild bonuses. Read more about how the brand spoils its employees here .

The success in Maranello stands in stark contrast to how things are going in the car industry in general. Here is a picture of car brands that have to turn over every stone to find savings. Most recently, it has emerged that Mercedes is dropping the development of several electric cars. Read more about it here.

Other car brands are about to do. Among other things, it is expected that Henrik Fisker will announce in just a few days that his car brands – Fisker Inc. – goes bankrupt due to financial problems.
