Now Haas is suing its former team boss Günther Steiner

Just a few days after Günther Steiner took Haas F1 to court, the Formula 1 team is now doing the same. Just with different charges.

Günther Steiner believes he owes money to Haas F1, who kicked him out of the garage ahead of this Formula 1 season.

Conversely, the Haas team believes that Steiner has misused both the team's name and logo in his book 'Surviving to Drive', which was published last year.

This is written by the British media Autosport .

'In 2023, without the permission or consent of Haas Automation, Steiner authored, marketed, advertised, sold, distributed and monetized 'Surviving to Drive', which unlawfully used and displayed and continues to use and display Haas Automation's trademark and product design for the benefit of Steiner's personal financial gain and illegal earnings,' says Gene Haas' army of lawyers in the lawsuit against Gunther Steiner.

According to the lawsuit against the former team manager, Haas believes that Günther Steiner has sold his book in 'more than 150,000 copies' and 'that he has earned at least 31.1 million kroner from it'.

The ballad with Steiner and Haas is therefore far from over yet. Conversely, Steiner is also ready to make an admission about his time at Haas. However, in a slightly different direction. Read more about it here .

On the track, there is also the risk of trouble for Haas. At least in the Danish Kevin Magnussen's side of the garage. The Dane is leaning on a very special punishment in motorsport's king class. Read more about it here .
