Former Danish car manager is dead – aged 57

Lærke Flater, who until 2022 was spokesman and branch manager of Dansk e-Mobilitet, has passed away at the age of 57.

Lark Flader is dead. She lived to be 57 years old.

This is stated by the Timber and Furniture Industry under Danish Industry in a memorial , for which she has been branch director since January 2022.

For that role, Lærke Flater was spokesperson and branch manager for Danish e-Mobility, formerly known as the Danish Electric Vehicle Alliance.

"It was with great sadness that we received notification that branch director of the Wood and Furniture Industry Lærke Flater has passed away after a long illness."

"Lärke had a special will to win, and always saw opportunities and rarely limitations. And with her strong ability to focus on the heart of the matter, she managed to bring the industry together.

"Especially at Christiansborg, she was sharp and prepared to the tips of her fingers when important messages had to create political results", writes DI.

Lærke Flater died on 17 April, and she leaves behind a husband and three daughters. She will be buried on May 3 from Mariendals Church in Frederiksberg.
