The Danish team makes a comeback in the world's toughest racing league

The place is secured, and Formula Racing is lining up for the 24-hour race at Le Mans in June. It is the second Le Mans participation for the Danish Ferrari team, which debuted in the French classic in 2016.

The 2024 season has started well for Danish Formula Racing.

The team secured victory in the new GT3 class when the first division of the European Le Mans Series kicked off at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya earlier this month.

Now there is even more reason to celebrate, because the Danish Ferrari team has secured a place for this year's 24-hour race at Le Mans.

– This is huge news, and it comes a bit unexpectedly, as we have been on standby on the reserve list.

Was worth more than Volkswagen – now the car brand is threatened with bankruptcy

– Le Mans is the world's biggest motorsport event and a lob that every sports car team dreams of conquering, including us.

– So we are proud and very excited to be on the start list for the second time in our history, says team manager at Formula Racing, Allan Jorgensen.

The crew in the car is made up of former Ferrari Challenge and former European Le Mans champion Johnny Laursen and Conrad Laursen. The latter is just 17 years old.

– It is a dream that has come true. The 2024 season has started superbly with a victory in the first division of the European Le Mans Series.

No doubt that Le Mans will be many times tougher. But we have a strong team behind us and are looking forward to coming to France and representing Denmark in the world's biggest race, says Conrad Laursen.

This year's edition of the 24-hour race at Le Mans kicks off with the traditional test day on Sunday 9 June. The lob itself begins on June 15 at 16.
