A special type of car crash is exploding in Denmark

They can't stick to one day a week. Or at the weekend. There is Cars and Coffee every day.

For those who don't know, Cars and Coffee is a type of car meetup with roots in the USA. People often gather here on weekends in the early morning hours in the summer to kick tires and drink coffee. Hence the name. But now the phenomenon has spread to Denmark. There are i.a. Cars and Coffee meeting in Odense, where the meeting was held for the first time on a Thursday in August 2019. Since then, drivers have met on Thursdays in odd weeks throughout the season. But the type of car crash has spread to the whole country. There are also well-attended Cars and Coffee meetings in Vejle and Helsingor, just as some car importers have adopted the meeting type. There is not, however, because it is only people with American cars who are fashionable. In an interview with Motor magazine, the former editor of FDM's magazine Motor, Bo Christian Koch, has no doubts about why Cars and Coffee meetings in particular have gained momentum this summer. – First of all: I also see that mother with the old cars – and coffee – is growing right now. I think it is due to a saved need for cars and to fashion after corona, it says.
