The last ever Chiron pays tribute to Bugatti's daughter

It is over. After six years, Bugatti has produced the last Chiron. The last three cars are a tribute to a person who was particularly close to the brand's founder.

Not many know it. But the Bugatti Chiron is actually already a tribute to a Bugatti employee. Namely the Monegasque Louis Chiron as a short Le Mans and test car for Bugatti under the founder, Ettore Bugatti. And now Bugatti is doing it again. The thing about paying homage to the past. The last three Chiron models ever get an additional name after Ettore Bugatti's eldest daughter, L'Ébé. All three cars: one regular Chiron and two Sport models – are painted black with gold accents. Like L'Ébé Bugatti's signature is on the underside of the car's giant rear wing. In the cabin, the brand's street car history is embroidered on the door sides, while the chairs, instrument panel and steering wheel are kept in asymmetrical colours. Here are both Bugatti blue, a shade of Fabricca Blu, cream white and carbon fiber black. Engine-wise, there is no extra power to be had. But the Chiron model has never lacked potency either. With its quadruple turbos, the 8-liter W16 engine delivers an insane 1,500 horsepower and 1,600 Nm. While in the Chiron Super Sport 300+ there is a hundred horsepower more. It took Bugatti 6 years and a change of ownership to build the 500 cars. Rumor has it that the brand is in full swing developing the Chiron's successor. The first ever electrified Bugatti. And yes, it retains the W16 engine.
