TEST: We test Enzo's last car, the turbo monster Ferrari F40

The Ferrari F40 is impossible to put in a stall. The Italian sports car is iconic due to its own being, its creator and the mythology built around the car, which celebrates Ferrari's 40th anniversary and will also be Enzo's last car.

The coolest car brand? Ferrari! The coolest Ferrari? F40! The world's coolest car? Ferrari F40! Even today, 33 years after its release, the F40 is an understated, fabled, excessively violent, fantastically dynamic and super-cool racing machine that is unique in the magnificent world history of cars. It's just the coolest car in the world. So get in (and down!) behind the wheel, duck your head and get ready. Because here you get a unique car experience, Bil Magasinet writes. The consummate coring machine Pagani Zonda is more refined, the Porsche Carrera GT is faster, the McLaren F1 has better coring characteristics and the Lamborghini Miura is more beautiful, but none contains it all in such perfect and rich measures as the F40. It is the perfect choral machine, where all the senses are gathered around a common goal: The perfect choral experience. The excess has been cut away, but everything has been done to ensure that the driver never lobbies for engine power – or entertainment, if you will. The harness looks like something from a Fiat Uno Headroom is limited, and my 183 cm scrapes against the thin headliner. In this way, I can feel that there is actually clothing – a luxury neither the floor nor the doors enjoy. The view out of the curved windshield is unobstructed. The three-point harness looks like the one from the Fiat Uno, the side window turning handle looks like something from a piece of Chinese toy, and there is no handle at all on the carbon mandrel. You therefore have to pull the wire that makes it to an internal door handle, because there is no actual door handle. The cabin is stripped of all comfort except for air conditioning and a makeup sail in the sun visor above the passenger seat. Click 'NEXT PAGE' to read more
