Another electric car promises to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 1.9 seconds.

The MG Cyberster is probably the fastest MG right now. But if EXE181 becomes anything, the overman is already on his way.

The MG Cyberster is not much more than a concept car, which the Chinese brand is currently showing in Denmark, among other places.

But something even wilder than scissors, 544 horsepower and four-wheel drive is coming. MG otherwise insists that the Cyberster was made on the occasion of the brand's 100 years.

But the MG brand has been shut down and revived several times since it was originally founded in England in 1924. The MG that exists today has only been kept alive since 2007. And in terms of name, it has nothing to do with the original brand .

Well, back to EXE181. The Chinese will unveil it at the Beijing Auto Show later this month. In fact, in just a few days. Namely between 25 April and 4 May.

The EXE181 concept shares its name with the high-speed car that the original MG presented way back in 1959. But unlike that car, the Chinese claim that the new electric car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds.

With what, however, the brand does not say much about. But we know that the car has as many as four electric motors. And while 1.9 seconds isn't really much more than an instant, it's still not fast enough.

The Rimac Nevera goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.81 seconds. On the other hand, there are many indications that the SAIC-owned brand wants the car to reach 410 km/h. Slightly faster than the original MG EX181 short already in 1957 with Stirling Moss behind the wheel. It was 395 km/h. Enough for a world record.

So then. Today, the world's fastest mass-produced car – the Bugatti Chiron Supersport 300+ – clocks 489 km/h.
