18 cars seized – 324 charges for car crashes in Randers

In connection with a car crash in Rander on Monday, East Jutland Police seized 18 cars and three motorcycles and handed out 324 charges.

In connection with a larger car meeting, the so-called Cars and Coffee in Randers, which however has little to do with the original Cars and Coffee, on Thursday East Jutland Police seized 18 cars and three motorcycles and issued 324 charges.

This is stated by the police circle in a press release .

– We knew in advance that the event would attract a lot of people from near and far with an interest in cars, and therefore we also knew that we could expect heavy traffic especially on the major access roads to the city, says Police Commissioner at East Jutland Police Amrik Singh Chadha .

The police have seized the choral toys because law enforcement suspects that they have been illegally manipulated. If it subsequently turns out that illegal changes have been made and that the police's suspicions are correct, a large fine awaits the owners.

The police will also demand that the cars must be legalized at a workshop before they are allowed to hit the roads again. The legalization of the corrals will later be checked in connection with a summons to an extraordinary car inspection, writes East Jutland Police.

– Unfortunately, we are not surprised that yesterday we were able to write as many cases as we did, and that so many choir uniforms were seized. We have nothing against people gathering about their interest in cars, but of course this must take place within the framework of the law.

– However, it is particularly sad that we still have road users who disregard the safety of all of us in traffic.

– 17 misdemeanors for either conditional or unconditional denial of the right of way and 53 clip cases testify that there are still road users who do not want to follow the rules that must contribute to everyone being able to travel safely in traffic, says Amrik Singh Chadha.

In the same press release, they write that they did not just seize cars and print out stalls in Randers. They also helped a punctured motorist patch a tyre. If the driver later gets a bill for that help, the story does not report anything.
