Media: Günter Steiner signs contract with Formula 1 team

Although he was kicked out of the Haas garage, it does not mean that former team boss Gunther Steiner is finished in Formula 1. Now German media believe that he has found a new place in the paddock.

Gunther Steiner is not someone you just kick out of Formula 1.

Haas's former team manager is currently acting as an expert in the media. But according to a German media, he may very soon be on his way back into Formula 1 again.

This is written by the German media Heute .

Steiner has suffered a bit from the bottom of the coffin after the many years at Haas – a stay that he has actually admitted lasted too long – and he will use some of that to seek influence from some old acquaintances.

Namely Red Bull, which developed from the Jaguar team, where Steiner was also involved. The former team boss has plans to buy into Red Bull, writes the media.

In return, the money must guarantee him a leading role with the reigning world champions. Specifically, Steiner wants to buy shares in the company behind Red Bull's Formula 1 team and thereby gain influence. So allegedly.

Red Bull's long-time advisor Helmut Marko has also recently acknowledged that parts of the team may be for sale, but that there are already many interested parties.

Whether Steiner is among 'the many interested', Marko did not reveal. Right now, the South Tyrolean is on the screen for the German TV station RTL in connection with the Formula 1 coverage. And that he has been given an alternative role in Miami. Read more about it here .
