A 24-year-old man from Bedsted tried to run away from the police on Mors earlier this week. It all ended with law enforcement taking the car.
The local police in Thisted so far estimate that a 24-year-old man from Bedsted tried to run away from law enforcement at Mors at up to 140 km/h.
It all happened earlier this week. This is what Police Commissioner Henrik Jensen tells TV2 Nord .
The police commissioner does not yet know what caused the 24-year-old to flee in the first place – or at least try to do so.
However, it could be connected to the fact that the 24-year-old has long since lost his choir card. Therefore, in addition to speeding, he is also charged with this. But the chase only ended after a car chase of 14 kilometers.

The 24-year-old was soon charged with reckless driving, and then the police got a sweeper to pick up his car, which has now been impounded because of reckless driving. The law enforcement authorities will now try to have it confiscated on behalf of the state in the subsequent court case.
Since the law on crazy driving was introduced in March 2021, the police have seized over 3,200 carousels. Among other things, several copies of Denmark's most popular car. Read more about it here .
