37-year-old short 40 kilometers – then the police came after the car

On the night of Thursday, a 37-year-old man was brought to an abrupt end. However, he managed to drive 40 kilometers in the wrong direction.

On the night of Thursday, a 37-year-old man with a blood alcohol level managed to drive over Lolland and Falster, because the police caught him.

Several citizens had previously contacted the police and warned about the 37-year-old man, who turned out to be from North Jutland, because he was speeding in the wrong direction on the South Motorway.

In total, the man managed to cover a full 40 kilometers as a ghost driver before the police brought him to a stop.

This appears from the police report of Sydsjælland and Lolland-Falster Police.

After the stop, a breathalyzer revealed that the man had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit of 0.5. However, how much higher is not apparent from the dog report.

Combined with the car driving in the wrong direction and the fact that the man appeared to be under the influence of drugs, this meant that the police impounded the car on the spot.

It was not, however, the only car that Sydsjælland and Lolland-Falster's Police impounded. Thursday at At 0.17 the police received a 35-year-old driver from Slagelse.

He had neither number plates on the car nor any registration card. He has been denied the latter on a previous occasion.

And since the 35-year-old has now been caught barking in that way at least three times, it triggered a seizure. The car he shorted was also found to be on the roads without the statutory liability insurance.
