The world's last Lamborghini with a V10 engine gets 640 horsepower

The Super Trofeo Jota is the last Lamborghini ever with a V10 engine. At least when talking about street cars.

The Super Trofeo Jota is not just the last Lamborghini Huracan model ever. It is the last street car with a V10 engine from the factory in Sant'Agata.

The car brand says so in a press release .

The replacement will apparently have a V8 engine from Audi, the same one that Lamborghini already uses in the SUV Urus.

But back to the Super Trofeo Jota, because we will continue with the numbers. The car will only be built in 10 copies, all of which will be among the very last Huracan models ever to leave Lamborghini's factory.

On the other hand, the 10 cylinders deliver a whopping 640 horsepower and 850 Nm without any turbo pressure. It all goes, as it always has in the Huracan, through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

However, not all Huracan models pull on the rear wheels, but the STJ does. The brand itself says that the car is 1 second faster than the already brutal STO – which by the way stands for Super Trofeo Omologata – around the Nardo Ring, which Fiat founded in 1975.

There is no word on the price. But it is in and of itself also unimportant. Because it has already been a year since Lamborghini announced that all the remaining V10 models were completely sold out.

In fact, things are going so well that Lamborghini can announce that everything is sold out at several points. The order books are simply so full that they don't take new orders for a very long time. Read more about it here .

PS : In the course of the first three months of 2024, only one new Lamborghini has been given Danish number plates.

Last year, as many as 13 new Lamborghinis got Danish number plates. But that must be compared with a total production that only just creeps over 10,000 cars per year.
