Danish drivers get 137 million kroner after scandalous mistakes

Again this year, the insurance fund DFIM, which distributes daily allowances to people with uninsured choir uniforms, must pay for their mistakes. And it will be really expensive.

The insurance fund DFIM, which collects daily fees for uninsured motor vehicles around the country, must once again pay hideously large sums back to motorists.

In 2023, Danish drivers got DKK 55 million back. Money which, according to the director, the fund has collected 'by mistake'.

This is written by TV Syd .

Now the same media writes that the insurance fund has to go into the pockets again. This time even more money must be paid out for another scandalous mistake.

Indeed, DFIM has succeeded in collecting a total of DKK 137 million in an unjustified manner. The foundation itself states this in its annual report for 2023.

Sara Brinks Larsen, director of DFIM, defends herself by saying that the fees, which are now being paid back, were given 'correctly'. So for people who have cards around without the statutory liability insurance.

But that DFIM is now repaying the money anyway due to 'some regrettable procedural errors'. Among other things, DFIM has in several cases had no basis for collecting the fees on behalf of the state at all.

TV Syd has uncovered several objectionable matters and cases that DFIM is behind, yet the director believes that the fee scheme, which the foundation is behind, is a success.

Whether it will have any consequences for Sara Brinks Larsen that she is at the head of a body that once again makes a fool of itself and burdens Danish motorcoach owners, the story does not report anything.

However, since DFIM has been able to collect daily fees for uninsured choirs, the number of such in Denmark has fallen from 50,000 to now 10,000.
