Tesla has had enough – says stop completely until 2025

There are simply so many cars in Tesla's order books that new Cybertruck orders won't materialize until next year at the earliest.

Tesla is accelerating.

Not as much speed as both themselves and the brand's investors had expected. Far from actually.

But it is still moving forward. Even so far ahead – and so quickly – that Tesla is now partially closing the order books. At least when it comes to the special Cybertruck.

Carscoops writes this based on Tesla's own information.

The media estimates that Tesla has over 2 million pre-orders for Cybertruck models lying around. However, it is not until next year that the brand expects to have the assembly line fully up to speed.

And even then, Tesla does not expect to be able to build 'more' than 250,000 Cybertrucks per year. Previously, it appeared from Tesla's US site that future Cybertruck owners would get their cars in or around January 2025.

Despite the immediate success in the order books, the Tesla Cybertruck is not a flawless creature on four wheels. In fact, various Tesla forums overflow with criticism of the car.

Thomas is one of the Cybertruck owners who has chosen to document his 'journey' with the new Tesla model. A journey that already caused problems after 1 kilometer and ultimately meant that a sweeper had to collect the car. Read more about it here .

Right now, the Cybertruck with European asphalt under its wheels has very long prospects. But a change to the European license plate rules, which are actually intended for a completely different type of car, still opens up the possibility of getting the Cybertruck to Denmark.
