The former Top Gear and Grand Tour host is not impressed with the minefield of political correctness that the woke culture is laying down on society.
In a new column for The Times, the former Top Gear and Grand Tour host takes a sharp jab at the woke culture.
The 63-year-old TV Brit writes that he feels that he gets more out of keeping himself under control, rather than saying what he really thinks.
– When I was out filming (a TV programme, ed.) the other day, I took a breath to say something funny. But then I looked around at all the young people and thought: "It's better not to".
– I couldn't see myself that my joke would stand to anyone. But that is how it will possibly be perceived by someone else. And that was enough for me to step on the brakes.

Clarkson went on to write about how one wrong pronoun (her, him, ed.) or an opinion exchanged in connection with the use of hand signals can end up as a matter for the HR department at the workplace.
It is not the first time that Clarkson's columns have attracted attention. In December last year, for example, the TV host went so far in a column for The Sun that he ended up apologizing.
However, it was far from the first time that Jeremy Clarkson made a name for himself in writing. In 2019, for example, he called the Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg 'crazy and dangerous'.
