89-year-old crazy driver gave the police a creepy explanation

On Sunday evening, an 89-year-old man deliberately drove in the direction of the intersection over a stretch of 15 kilometers on the Holbæk motorway.

On Sunday evening, an 89-year-old crazy driver explained that he deliberately cut short in the direction of the intersection over a stretch of 15 kilometers, 'because there was no intersection'.

This is what the Central and West Zealand Police write in the police report .

The motorist was otherwise driving directly towards the traffic, so several of the oncoming drivers, who were driving on the right side of the road, had to take evasive manoeuvres.

Only when the police caught sight of the old man at Kirke-Sonnerup did the choir tour stop. The man behind the wheel turned out to be from Holbæk.

Now he shouldn't count on getting behind the wheel again. Like he'll probably never see his car again. The police will seek to obtain the right to confiscate it on behalf of the state.

– He was charged with reckless driving, by barking against the traffic on a stretch of around 15 kilometres.

– He was informed that his car was impounded and the choir card confiscated, which he accepted. No one was hurt, and no other motorists were hit during the collision, the police say.
